Committed in producing competent and hardworking students in a genuinely-diverse community, the Senior High School students had their paper defense both for their Practical Research 1 - Qualitative Research and Principles of Marketing subjects last March 15-17 and March 28.
For their qualitative researches, the STEM and ABM students presented a wide variety of topics from the balisong industry, marketing strategies of different business establishments, to Youtube, Pokemon Go, fish kills among others.
The papers were presented to an esteemed panel including Mr. Arvin Balderama (Nursing Director, Our Lady of Caysasay Medical Center), Mr. Bill Clinton Agner (Accounting Supervisor, San Miguel Brewery, Inc.), Mr. Charlie delos Reyes (Licensed Occupational Therapist), Mr. Dickson Caringal (PR Marketing Specialist, Stonyhurst Southville International School) and Mr. Eleazar Campomanes (Nurse, Jesus of Nazareth Hospital).
On the other hand, ABM students became innovative and creative when they were tasked to create products that are not yet existing in the market including a charcoal oral solution, ampalaya chips, fish taco, pop pie, oat balls made of bananas and vegetable cookies for their marketing research.
The products were scrutinized by Mr. Francis de Castro (Prefect of Discipline and Economics teacher, OLCA) and Mrs. Katrina Carla Tenorio (Marketing/Project Manager, Camella Homes).
The research papers were under the supervision of Mr. Armyr Encarnacion (Practical Research), Ms. Yolanda Adalin and Mrs. Wendy Marquez (Principles of Marketing).
